Most of us have come across the saying - ‘it takes all kinds of people to make up this world’. Human beings that inhibit Mother Earth are from vastly different culture and have distinct value systems, not to mention they are a product of a multitude of linguistic, educational and economic endeavors. Thus, the diversity is obvious! 

Yet, it must be pointed out that amongst this diversity or ‘mess’, it is clearly possible for all of us to live and co-exist peacefully and harmoniously. Being of a ‘higher intellect’ and somewhat unlike ‘animals in the wild’, we are able to admit, tolerate and accept the existence of and living along side people of other ethnicity and religion.

Deep within each human being, there is this goodness in us where we understand, appreciate and respect one another, knowing very well that to live and co-exist peacefully and happily mingling with others makes life all the more worth living!

 FOR HUMANITY!

Esther's Mind on Exams...

An atmosphere of silence
An atmosphere of anxiety
The hallways which was once
Filled with
The chattering voices and footsteps of students
Has turned into
A hallway of only the soft voice
Of the slow breeze
And the tick tocks of the big school clock
Classrooms which was once
Full of students’ voices
Full of footsteps of tables and chairs
Full of paper planes taking off and landing
All these in the class
Faded, gone with the wind
This cell turned silent

Books flying into bags
Bags walking to the back of the class
The atmosphere grew heavier
Anxiety, excitement, all different emotions together
“I cant stand it anymore!!!
Give out the papers so we can be done with it!!!”

Too bad,
The boy’s table and chair
Had to walk out of the class
Followed by his pencil, pen and paper
All with the boy

An hour slowly crept by
A day slowly went
Five days up
And it was all over!!!
It’s over!!! It’s over!!!
Hooray! Hooray!
It’s over!!!
Exams are finally over!

Life  


Fly, 
Fly with wings 
Like that of an eagle 
Know no boundaries 
Riding on your hopes, 
your dreams  


The reason we run 
The reason we fly 
Is to reach a goal 
Is to proof something 
To show that we can  


It all relies on faith 
Believing that your abilities 
Can take you higher 
High above the sky  


Living a life full of emotions 
Anger, happiness, love 
The normal life of a human 
the life we live on this earth
